All hardware and software, on both Virtual Private Servers (VPS) and Dedicated Servers is fully managed by MCHost, all server upgrades and patches are done at no additional charge! We take care of all the initial software installations and will deliver your server ready-to-go.
Operating System Patches: When a new stable release of your operating system is available, you have the option to request an upgrade to the latest version.
Kernel Upgrades: The kernel is the essential part of the operating system, like a 'virtual heart', responsible for resource allocation, hardware interfaces, security etc. Kernel upgrades/modifications should only be handled by experienced technicians. We will automatically upgrade your server to the latest kernel.
Software Upgrades: We always install the latest software on your initial server set-up, but over the weeks and months, new patches or versions may become available. Our team will take care of all these upgrades for you to ensure your server is secure and at top performance.
Monitoring: Your server is monitored 24/7 and we are automatically alerted of downtime. Additionally, you will have access to our reboot line to request unlimited server reboots, if needed.
